You may check out as many books as you wish. Audios are limited to 5 per family. Books and audio books are checked out for a 2 week period. They may be renewed by phone. You are allowed one grace day on returns before late charges begin to accrue at the rate of 10 cents per day. There is a drop box located at the front of the library for after hour returns.
Videos may be checked out for 5 days, with a limit of 5 per family. You are allowed one grace day on returns before late charges begin to accrue at the rate of $1.00 per day. They may be renewed by phone. Please rewind!
Items not owned by our library may be requested from another library by interlibrary loan approximately 12 months after the original publication date. No fees are charged for items borrowed from libraries within our system; however a fee of $2.00 may apply for an out of state item. The length of check out time is controlled by the loaning library. Ask at the desk for an interlibrary loan form.
Copies: Black and white copies can be purchased from staff members at a cost of 20 cents per page. The cost of computer printouts is 20 cents per page for black and white and 50 cents for color.
Items may be scanned at a cost of $1.00 per item. Copy charges will apply for printing.
Fax: You may send or receive faxes. The charge for sending a fax is $2.00 for the first page and 50 cents for each additional page. Faxes may be received at a charge of 50 cents per page.
Internet
Internet access is available at no charge. Computer usage is limited to one hour unless no one is waiting. User will be given 5 minutes to finish, when someone is waiting for a computer. Users are responsible for all pages of printed copies.
Internet users under the age of 18 must have an internet contract on file, signed by a parent, giving permission to use the internet. Users under the age of 12 are further required to sit with a parent while accessing the internet.
Children's Room: Children will be given priority for computer usage in the Children's Room. Adults with children will be asked to use Children's Room computers.
One appointment computer is available. To reserve the appointment computer, please call at least an hour ahead.
